Function

Your Perfect Job?

Do you want to play a key role in setting the standard for improving quality in the rail sector, increasing efficiency and decreasing costs?

  • You are fully responsible for the IRIS (International Rail Industry Standard) Unit
  • You will lead a multicultural team of 6 Managers and oversee the completion of the responsibilities entrusted to the team
  • You will manage the weekly progress meetings
  • You orchestrate all technical activities including operations, performance and control
  • You both monitor and contribute to the evolving technical regulations and standards which impact the IRIS Certification
  • You represent IRIS at IRQB, ISO and European Union Agency for Railways meetings
  • Travel flexibility worldwide and in Europe
  • You steer the IRIS and IRQB Working Groups
  • You animate the quarterly IRQB webinars
  • In close collaboration with your team, you implement the IRIS Certification Revisions (current version Revision.04)
  • You participate in all the Heads of Units’ meetings with the UNIFE Director General
  • You are responsible for overseeing the correct budget execution.

Profile

  • Minimum 5 years of Team Management experience, including 3 years QMS (Quality Management System) management and 3 years of experience in the Rail sector
  • Experience within a Certification Body is a plus
  • Very Good written and spoken English
  • Being accustomed to a multicultural and international work environment is a must
  • You are an analytical thinker who is both pro quality and continuous improvement
  • Being both results driven and Member focused will enable you to flourish at UNIFE
  • Your emotional intelligence enables you to form strong internal and external working relationships
  • You are a fair manager who shares information and expertise, enabling your team to progress and realise their true potential
  • Your sound time management means you will thrive in this busy and varied role
