Management and training:

You will join the finance team where you will work daily in tandem with the Data-Analyst and the Finance & Fleet Manager Thierry, to whom you will report.

Thierry is a very committed manager with 20 years of seniority. He is a patient person who will give you a thorough training and guide you well during the first months. So that you quickly become familiar with the way things are done. He is an approachable person who likes clear and direct communication.

Function

Curious about what you will do?

You will be responsible for performing the day-to-day accounting for the group and for 6 branches within Europe (BE, NL, UK, IL, DE and LUX):

- Booking supplier and customer invoices & execution of payments.

- Banking, interco and stock reconciliation.

- Expense reports and payroll processing.

- Tax and statutory returns (VAT, INTRASTAT) on a monthly/annual basis.

- Balance check and monitoring of unpaid debts with customer service.

- Preparation of budgets for various departments and monthly follow-up.

- Monthly financial reporting and analysis.

- Prepare and book consolidation entries.

- Assisting with monthly and year-end closures and questions from auditors.

Profile

Who are you?

- You have a degree in accounting, finance or economics.

- ACCA/CPA professional certification is a plus.

- You have at least 3-5 years' working experience in accounting/finance.

- You have a strong knowledge of accounting standards.

- You have an excellent knowledge of MS Office and good knowledge of accounting and consolidation tools.

- You are able to work to deadlines while demonstrating accuracy and meticulousness in processing data.

- You are fluent in English (written and oral). A good command of German is a strong asset, a knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus.
